Sometimes it is hard to stop and appreciate the internet, however, it has become a vital tool for everyday life, and the development of the internet has changed organisations globally for the better.

The healthcare industry is hugely reliant on the internet. From its widespread ability to record and share information, monitor visits and update carers in real-time, the internet is enabling the provision of better care and NDGAI is pushing the boundaries of technology to create pioneering services specifically for the care sector.

Today we are celebrating Internet Day by sharing with you our experience of the internet and how it has made a profound impact on how we deliver our product OptifAI.

We spoke to our IT Services Manager, Sohail Iqbal, to see what he had to say about why the internet is so significant to NDGAI.

“Here at NDGAI our brilliant artificial intelligent software OptifAI is hosted in the cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS), who are the leading cloud services provider.

“With data stored in the cloud, our users can access their information from any internet-connected computer or mobile device and when app data is stored in the cloud, no data is lost if a user’s computer or device fails.

“AWS provides NDGAI and its partners with many benefits.  It has data centres scattered globally which means NDGAI can offer high uptime and availability, fantastic performance and scalability. Also, all physical server maintenance is left to the experts at AWS meaning NDGAI can focus on delivering the best possible service to its partners and end-users.

“The internet makes all of this possible, so it is fair to say that we appreciate the internet very much!”
